Flyers have scored more than 3 goals once in the last 18 games. So not only is the defense core a steaming pile of dung, this team can't score goals. The 5x5 play is absolutely pathetic.

I'm glad Mason called out the team yesterday. They hang this guy out to dry so often its ridiculous.

Hextall has a monumental task in front of him, there are no quick fixes, right now an unacceptable product is being put on the ice.

I think the fans should get the Bobby Clarke trophy for dealing with this poop.

I think Voracek deserves the Clarke trophy.

And the "It's all Berube's fault" crowd is likely to get their wish, when you couple last night's effort with Sunday.

They can keep all the trophies this year. It's taken them til March to get mad at the way they're playing. Maybe a year without even team hardware will make a statement.

I don't care who gets what trophy so long as Coach Clueless gets his pink slip a month from now.

It was a serious run and gun game last night - I felt the first period was fun to watch as long as you weren't a goalie. After that - yeah - we'll move on.

The Clarke trophy should go to the fans. They deserve a reward for watching this steaming pile of monkey crap all season long!

Mason for MVP, no question. Hopefully he starts all the remaining games, cause that just makes the most sense.

I'm ok with the loss last night. In fact, I'm ok with a solid 10 more losses or so. The Top 3 picks are pretty well locked up, but with some good luck and really crappy play, the Flyers could get down around pick #5.

Thanks for temporarily saving some of us from Eagles talk, Bill.

Thanks Bill. That was a bad game against Dallas. For some reason, nobody could finish their shots, and continued to let the forwards from Dallas get behind them. Sorry, Mase. I would have let you sit out the rest of the season, and get some rest, but the organization continues to burn you out. Hexy, bring Reese back, and find a new coach. This team is a mess as it is. Let's start fresh next season.
The only safe players in my opinion are: G, V-check, Bellemare, White, Coots, Simmer, Raffl, MDZ and Mason.
Congrats to V-check for leading the points race for as long as you did. Congrats to Bellemare for making the adjustment to the NHL, and for working hard to stay. Congrats to White for his comeback, and work ethic. Congrats to MDZ for turning his career around, and for not giving up. Congrats to Mason for giving the team a chance every night you played, and for not making the team look as bad as it is.
Let the debate continue.
Two thumbs up for Wolf...lol.

Nice to see Mason ripping the team. And I think he has the credibilty in the bank to able to do it, unlike Cechmanek or Bryzgalov.

Its been a bad few weeks for Mason and you can see he is fed up. The Flyers better take notice because I think they got a goalie they can rely on for the foreseeable future.

But between cutting ties with Reese for defending his goalie (how does that play in Mason's head?) plus these crapty efforts when they needed to step up most, Mason has gotta be in a bad place emotionally right now.

Was thinking the same thing.

Also, he wasn't wrong.

Kudos to Mason for speaking up. It's been months of this garbage and he had every right to vent his frustrations. He's arguable been one of the only consistent players all year if not THE only consistent player other than Voracek.

I agree Mason should get it.

In Ek's blog from a day or so ago he stated the Flyers are set on offense and goaltending but the need is on defense. Has he watched the Flyers lately? That offense needs major work. Good offfensive teams bury their chances and the Flyers are far from it. I think it's just as poor as the defense. Mason really is the only playoff worthy part of this team.

Unless Jake wins the Art Ross this year I think the clear cut winner for the Bobby Clark is Steve Mason. He was and is their most consistently good player this year.
